Duncreggan House, originally a mid 19th-century manor house, has been tastefully restored. Set above the village of Blairmore it has panoramic views of Loch Long, the Firth of Clyde and in the distance the Arocha Alps  It has loch and mountain  views from most of the rooms in the house

It has 6 bedrooms (one with a private roof garden) and can sleep up to 16 people. It is situated in an elevated position overlooking the sleepy village of Blairmore 10 miles north of Dunoon. Views are breath taking with panoramic views of Loch Long, Firth of Clyde and the Holy Loch and in the background the Arocha Alps. The house has 6 bedrooms, 3 with ensuite bathrooms and 2 additional  shower rooms plus a family bathroom, a lounge, dining room and fully fitted country kitchen with electric and calor gas cookers, dishwasher, laundry and large eating area. It is fully double-glazed and has oil fired central heating. The house is surrounded by over an acre of ground. The mature garden used to be a nature trail and has many trees and shrubs, there is a small burn and waterfall – it is a paradise.

Services

Bed linen is supplied, logs for open fires are supplied. There is oil fired central heating throughout. The house has a dish washer, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, electric hob, fan assisted double oven, calor gas 6 burner range, American style fridge with ice maker and water cooler in addition to a separate fridge and freezer, 2 Colour TVs, Video, Stereo CD/tape hi-fi system a pay telephone and wireless internet access. There are six bath rooms (5 with shower and toilet and one with bath). Golf clubs with trolley are supplied for use at the local golf club. The Golf Club is in easy walking distance from the house. For outdoor enthusiasts there are three bikes, (one is a tandem) available as well outdoor games basket ball, tennis and cricket. The is ample parking within the grounds of the property.

Most of the six bed rooms have sea views. There are four double bedrooms with double beds (one is a family room with two additional single beds) and two twin rooms one of which is on the ground floor. There is an additional single sofa bed in the Garden room and a folding bed is also available.

A child's bed, baby's cot and high chair are also available.

Duncreggan House has also obtained corporate membership of the Dolphin Leisure Centre at Hunters Quay Holiday Village. Our guests can use the swimming pool, gymnasium, sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi for FREE!
